Bryan Ganz, CEO and Managing Partner

Bryan Ganz brings a career of leadership experience to Scudder Bay including ten years as a founding principal of Paramount Capital Group, an investment advisory firm that managed money for a broad array of blue chip clients; and fifteen years leading and growing Galaxy Tire, a specialty tire manufacturer, into a half-billion dollar global business, with 2,600 employees, operations in 17 countries and manufacturing facilities on three continents. Bryan has served on the Board of Governors of Citizens Against Government Waste, a watchdog organization dedicated to promoting fiscal responsibility within Congress.

Mr. Ganz graduated with honors from Georgetown University's Business School with a BSBA in accounting in 1980. He received his JD from Columbia Law School in 1983, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.

Kevin Koffman, Executive Vice President and Partner

Kevin Koffman has established a long career with leadership positions in sports, entertainment and sales management. His professional resume includes roles as President of Universal Sports Consultants, a sports representation firm which advised and managed a stable of pro athletes; and as General Manager of the Miami Marlins, the Class A baseball team. Prior to joining Scudder Bay, Kevin led Regional Sales for the Galaxy Tire Company, and was an electronic media personality as on-air talent and Program Director of WWZN Radio in Boston. Kevin’s experience in dealing squarely with people on a personal level are attributes which have helped Scudder Bay Capital make significant progress in its mission.

Mr. Koffman graduated with honors from Florida State University with a double major in Communications and Marketing in 1980.

David Elan, Principal

David Elan joined Scudder Bay from Windward Investment Management, where he was a Principal and a member of the investment committee. He was a senior manager in the Personal Financial Counseling practice at Ernst & Young, and a Vice President in the Investment Management Division of Goldman, Sachs & Co. Mr. Elan is a licensed real estate broker in Massachusetts, and has extensive experience in mortgage underwriting.

Mr. Elan graduated summa cum laude from Boston University with a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies in 1996. He earned an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University in 1998, and a Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley University in 2010. He is a CFA charter holder and a CFP™ practitioner.

Dan Koffman, General Counsel

Dan Koffman joined Scudder Bay Capital in 2010 as General Counsel. He is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, in addition to the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He is an active member of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) and takes on multiple pro bono clients each year as a part of the Boston Bar Association’s Volunteer Lawyers Project.

Mr. Koffman graduated with honors from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a BA in Journalism and Legal Studies. He earned a JD from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review.
